A 3-Step paint decontamination system using an alkaline cleaner, followed by an acid based cleaner and finished with a neutralising shampoo.
The Finish Kare Paint Decontamination System deep cleans painted surfaces removing soil, and ferrous metals from beneath the surface, preventing long-term long term paint damage.
CAUTION: For professional use only. Contains an acidic cleaner. Protective gloves, goggles, and clothing should be worn and a First Aid kit on site in case of accidental contact.
Directions of Use
The Finish Kare Paint Decontamination Kit is designed to remove paint decontamination beyond what washing and claying is capable of. Claying is an effective way of removing particles bonded to the paint, however this system is designed to also remove what lies beneath the surface.
Ferrous particles penetrate the paint, creating corrosive compounds that damage the paint's sub-layers. Claying or polishing only removes the particle from the surface, however the effects continue to spread beneath the surface. This is a gradual process that usually is not evident until it is too late.
The three steps of Finish Kare's decontamination system are formulated to neutralise and remove the contaminants not only to stop any damage being done to the paint, but also to prevent any future damage.
The Finish Kare Decontamination System Removes:
- Industrial Fallout
- Rail Dust
- Oxidation
- Silicone and Waxes
- Vehicle Wrap Adhesives
- Tar and Road Grime
- Tree Sap
- Insects
- Bird Droppings
- Hard Water Spots
NOTE: This system does not contain Oxalic Acid which is used in some other decontamination procedures and is known to soften paint, trim and aluminium.
Step 1: 1119 Soil & Coating Remover 1.9 Litre - Fully biodegradable, alkaline based cleaner with inhibitors for safe usage. Removes vehicle wrap adhesives, surface rust, soil coatings, iron oxides. 1119 cleans and prepares the surface for step 2. Dilute 1:4 parts water.
Step 2: SIRR Steel, Iron Rust Remover - A blend of acids and inhibitors. Opens the pores of the paint. Ferrous particles are removed by agitation. Enters the sub-surface of the paint and neutralises corrosive compounds generated from ferrous particles.
Step 3: 118 Shampoo Concentrate & pH Neutraliser - A heavy duty, active shampoo that neutralises and revives the paint. Washing away the ferrous particles that have come to the surface. Dilute 30ml per 4 litres of cold water. |
