Finish Kare SIRR Steel, Iron Rust Remover is Step 2 of Finish Kare’s Decontamination System.

This acid based cleaner deep cleans sub-layers of the painted surface to remove and protect from ferrous particles (iron compounds) neutralising corrosion below the surface.

CAUTION: For professional use only. Contains an acidic cleaner. Protective gloves, goggles, and clothing should be worn and a First Aid kit on site in case of accidental contact.

Finish Kare’s SIRR open pores of the paint to release ferrous particles below the surface that normal washing and claying cannot remove. SIRR stops corrosion from these compounds below the surface and prevents future damage.

Apply undiluted to the surface using protective gloves and a wash mitt (use a separate mitt to that used in step 1).

Using light pressure apply to the vehicle for 5-10 minutes ensuring to keep the surface wet at all times.

Rinse with cold water and dry. Test the surface for impurities by feeling through a plastic bag. If the surface still feels rough, repeat with SIRR.
