Lake Country’s Red CCS pad is a soft foam with no cutting or cleaning ability. Softer and superior to the Blue Finishing foam, it is designed for machine application of liquid waxes and sealants.

Developed by Lake Country Mfg. for polishing the new scratch resistant and nano, ceramic clear coats being used by the world’s automakers.

These collapsed dimples slow the rate of polish absorption, gradually releasing polish as needed by the operator. CCS Pockets reduce migration of polish into the pad, allowing the operator to polish longer before the pad "dries out".

Constant Pressure is great for polishing pads where you want a uniform and constant pressure on the surface being polished. Professionals have learned through experience to keep their machines parallel to the surface being polished. Tilting the machine in any direction can result in an uneven and excessive pressure being transferred to the painted surface.

This new, patented, Constant Pressure Technology uses a layer of engineered, instant rebound foam between the pad and the backing plate to absorb off-axis movements.

The other patented, innovation incorporated in 7.5" CCS Pads are the "mushroom cap" design. This curvature allows easy transition over seams and inclines.

Unlike the 6.5" CCS pads, the 7.5" CCS pads feature a patented, recessed area. This recess lessens the possibility of the backing plate accidently coming into contact with the surface being polished. This Velcro pocket perfectly self-centres the pad to eliminate wobble.

In addition, the Hook & Loop backing is not glued to the back of the pad, but thermally bonded to the foam. This greatly reduces the likelihood of delaminating (the backing coming off).
